Eat More and Lose Weight

Many people believe that cutting back on food and skipping meals is the best way to lose weight. It may work for some, but the results may be slower than traditional methods, frustrating and in some cases unsafe.  The truth is that weight-loss programs that limit calories don’t work. The lack of food and nutrients will cause loss of muscle mass. In the long run you are most likely to regain the weight you have lost and more. The key is eat more lose weight.

The smart thing to do, and what many nutritionists and personal trainers recommend is to create an eating plan. An eating plan controls calorie intake and makes sure you’re eating balanced meals, at the right times.

Breakfast. Just like mother said “it’s the most important meal of the day”. Even if you don’t have time in the morning or feel hungry it’s smart to eat something small like a piece of fruit, toast or a glass of fruit juice.  This will get your metabolism running and provide the energy to start the day right.

Eat the right foods. Fuel your metabolism and nourish your body with nutrient-dense foods. Include fruits & vegetables in every meal. The trick is to feed your body with foods that you can eat more of.  Food that is high in volume and low in calories.

Exercise a bit every day. Exercising everyday is vital to weight loss and overall well-being. Exercising will raise your metabolism, which will help burn more calories. Fueling your body with the right food will make exercising easier and more productive. No matter if you walk a few miles a day or train for a Spartan race.

Try to set a schedule for eating:

  • Breakfast
  • Snack
  • Lunch
  • Snack
  • Dinner
  • Snack (if needed)

Having five to six small meals daily helps fight of hunger and cravings. This also keeps your body burn calories constantly.
